Workshops

In our modern world, there is often a disconnect between what God designed marriage to be and how we live it out. In 2023, I started giving talks to high school senior young women about what it means to be a Catholic, a Catholic wife, and a Catholic mother. In their context, they aren’t yet married so we touched on finding the one in today’s crazy world and discerning if he is the one, but these talks are easily adaptable to those of us who are already married or who are discerning marriage. These workshops take those talks and journey deeper into what it means to be a Catholic woman, wife, and mother. Whatever stage you’re in in your relationship with God, your spouse, potential spouse, or hopeful spouse, these workshops are a simple way for us to slow down for just a minute, join each other in fellowship as women seeking the Lord, and reflect on all of His goodness.

Veiled In Goodness Catholic Wives Workshops

In-Person

If you are in the Savannah area or even if you’re not but would like to travel to see us and this beautiful city, we invite you to our in-person workshops!

Nursing babies and children 3 and under are welcome, but this is a workshop for women to have a minute to look inward so we ask that the older children stay home during this time. [ We do have a bi-monthly family ministry at our home called Farm to Jesus, and we’d love for you and your family to join us! www.farmtojesus.com ]

As these workshops are currently planned at my house in the Sandfly neighborhood in Savannah, Georgia, it will be an outside event. Please sign up using the sign-up form below so that I can send you the address and more information as the date gets closer.

This workshop is FREE to attend. We provide lunch and materials needed for the workshop. I’d like to keep it free as long as we can. However, if you would like to contribute towards the cost of hosting (food, materials, etc.), there will be a Venmo account listed on the sign-up form. Please note: There is NO obligation to contribute in order to participate. The most important thing is the gift of your presence and your thirst for Christ. Some people have just asked for the option to assist.

I look forward to seeing you there and growing in our love of the Lord together!

Online

It’s sometimes difficult to get away from the busyness of life. Maybe you don’t live near Savannah but would like to join us or maybe you’re skeptical or can’t find the time and want to try it out before you commit to joining us in person. I get it! Which is why we have an online option for the workshops. Due to trying to keep the cost minimal, each course will be sent via email/Google classroom.

This is a FREE workshop in person, and I’d like to keep it this way for online also. However, if you would like to contribute towards the making/distributing of the workshop, there will be a Venmo account listed in the sign-up form. Please note: There is NO obligation to contribute in order to participate. The most important thing is the gift of your presence and your thirst for Christ. Some people have just asked for the option to assist.

I look forward to you joining us spiritually on our journey to get closer to God!

Testimonials

I was just about to email you how much I enjoyed today and how excited I am for all you are doing. There is such a huge need for it.  Praying for you and your family and all the people God is putting in your path- and at your table!

Thank you for hosting the workshop and inviting me!! I enjoyed the topic of prayer!! The outdoor setting was beautiful and peaceful. I think you covered a good selection of materials on prayer. I really liked your explanation of imaginative prayer, and I want to try it in our family now.
