What was your favorite part of Mrs. King’s book? Why?
“My favorite part of the book is the Q&A section. This is because if I have questions about my own faith walk or what is happening in my life, then I can just refer to the book and then pray about what I find. This has actually helped me a lot in my waiting season and deal with some of the spirit attacks I’ve been facing these past few months.”
“I like the conversation parts because it made it feel like she was listening to us instead of just kind of spouting information at us.”
What Did You Learn?
“That I matter even when I don’t feel like it.”
What changes have you seen in your life as a result of our time with Mrs. King?
“I have seen a change in my confidence in myself and my relationships and knowing when someone is meant to be in my life and when they are and knowing when to step away from those who are not good for me.”
What Topic Was Most Impactful?
– “How we have to get our husbands to heaven and stay by their sides forever. I’ve never had someone be so direct, and it was nice to hear the truth.”
– “The topic of marriage was impactful to me. It made me realize that I should never settle for less than I deserve because I know God has someone special picked out for me, and He will send them at the right time. Before the discussions, I was very worried about my future, wondering if I would ever find someone. But, Mrs. King’s talks really made me realize that there IS someone out there who will love me but also put Christ before me.”
– “Marriage and Kids!! I absolutely loved her talks about marriage and kids. I loved how she talked about marriage and how it was so important and not just an “I do.” And how to teach our kids at home about Jesus.”
“I am forever grateful for you coming to talk with us. Your talks have really put me on a path to focus on my future and really make sure that Jesus is right there with me through everything! Yes, we go to a catholic school, but we don’t talk too much about our future or how to really implement Jesus in our lives, marriages, and motherhood. Your talks have been so impactful on me and my faith, and I have been meaning to reach out and share that with you. I go to church every Sunday and work at my church’s nursery, but I have been lost on how to really implement him in my life, and as I get older, my marriage and motherhood, but your talks made me not feel lost anymore.
